- Co-organization of the Aachen-Dresden
International Textile Conference as a joint forum for research
and industry
- Promotion of young people and awarding of scientific work from the areas of textile chemistry, textile technology, and textile economics with the scientific competition price 'Foerderpreis Textil Aachen'
The Aachen Textile Center pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes.
The Center aims at a promotion of all levels of the textile manufacturing
chain. In particular, the common interests of industry, research, and education
are coordinated. The Aachen Textile Center offers a forum of communication
and interchange concerning technical, commercial, and legislative questions
from all areas of the textile chain. It is a stock exchange supplying ideas
for new products and process innovations.
The Aachen Textile Center Inc. is open for further members: Enterprises of the textile manufacturing chain, research organizations and their representatives, any natural person and legal entity with a textile reference may become a member of the Aachen Textile Center.
